Dr. Erika Yancey DC, ACN offers exceptional prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care (including assessing newborns for lip and tongue ties), functional medicine, applied clinical nutrition, genetic testing, and primitive reflex remediation. She offers a wealth of knowledge to St. Cloud families regarding fertility, prenatal nutrition, and developmental milestones.
Dr. Erika's chiropractic work is neurologically based, gentle, and low-force. With longer appointment times, precise skill and speed, she is able to get effective adjustments for her clients that last. Her goal is to see you as few times as possible to address concerns, not get you on a regular maintenance schedule.
Erika Yancey grew up in St. Cloud, MN and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences. She graduated from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX in Fall 2008. After graduation she worked for a chiropractic neurologist in Dallas where, in addition to treating patients, she assisted him in creating internationally recognized courses for functional neurology.
Dr. Erika met her husband, Dave, in chiropractic college. They moved to Austin, TX where she owned her own clinic focused on women’s health. She worked alongside a midwife offering prenatal, maternity, and postnatal care - even adjusting women during labor! In 2012 she became certified in the Webster Technique, known as the “baby turning technique.”
Eventually, Erika's family moved back to MN to be closer to family. She assisted her husband in opening his own clinic in St. Cloud but continued to study neurology, functional medicine, and practice chiropractic at a clinic in Ham Lake, MN.
Dr. Erika has also completed her certification as an applied clinical nutritionist (ACN) and offers nutritional work to pre-conception and prenatal clients as well as those with autoimmune disorders (Hashimoto’s, Graves, MS, and AS).
In 2017, Erika sought out training from Dr. Robert Melillo in understanding primitive reflexes and their role in childhood development. Through remediating primitive reflexes, Dr. Erika can help with symptoms like bed wetting, toe walking, poor balance or coordination, extreme shyness, difficulties sleeping, screaming in carseat or swing, "W" leg position when sitting, and so much more!
With 10+ years of experience in functional medicine, neurology, nutrition, prenatal and pediatric chiropractic, Dr. Erika now offers exceptional and comprehensive holistic services to moms and babies/kids in Central MN through her own private practice, located in the back of For All of Maternity.
